Role Overview:
ASB Academy is seeking an experienced and passionate Head of School Relations to lead our engagement with schools across India. This role involves onboarding partner schools, co-creating customized K-12 curriculum, managing ASB teaching resources, and ensuring seamless academic delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong teaching background and an empathetic understanding of both students and school systems.
What You'll Do:
1. Onboard new schools and nurture relationships with principals, academic coordinators, and teaching staff.
2. Design and adapt engaging curriculum tailored for school-age learners, especially in primary and pre-primary levels.
3. Collaborate with schoolteachers to align course content with school needs. Build and manage course delivery schedules and teacher deployment plans.
4. Supervise ASB faculty for high-quality remote or hybrid program delivery in schools
5. Identify improvement areas in school learning systems and suggest academic interventions.
6. Act as a mentor and motivator for students, fostering engagement and confidence.
What This Role is Not:
1. Not a typical sales-driven edtech role there is no cold calling or product pitching.
2. Not a vice principal or admin-heavy position - your work won't involve paperwork for student attendance, discipline logs, or fee collection.
3. Not a bureaucratic or compliance - oriented job - your focus will be on collaboration, curriculum, and delivery, not pushing policies.
4. Not a role confined to a single school you'll be working across multiple school relationships and teaching teams. This is a strategic, academic, and relationship-building role - ideal for someone who loves teaching and wants to elevate school learning systems at scale.
What We're Looking For:
1. 8+ years of school teaching experience, ideally in Primary or Pre-Primary education.
2. Deep understanding of student engagement, lesson planning, and academic coordination 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Experience in curriculum development and working with teachers.
5. Ability to manage teaching teams and create delivery schedules.
6. Comfort with digital tools for content development and remote teaching.
