About the Role

The Pre-Sales Solution Architect is the technical voice in Antier's AI sales process. The role works with clients across industries to understand their requirements, define the right AI solution, size the effort accurately, and support the sales team through to closure.

This is a hands-on technical role, not a documentation role. The person is expected to hold their own in a conversation with a CTO or operations head, judge what is feasible, and own the technical position Antier takes on an opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
● Join discovery and technical calls with prospects, independently and alongside Sales.
● Understand the client's process, systems, data availability and constraints, and identify where AI can realistically be applied.
● Define the solution approach, architecture and technology stack for each opportunity, including cloud and on-premise deployment options.
● Produce effort estimates, team composition and timelines, and confirm these with AI Delivery before they are shared with the client.
● Write technical proposals, solution documents and scope notes, and prepare client-specific presentations.
● Respond to RFPs, RFIs and tender technical sections.
● Handle technical clarifications and objections through to closure.
● Hand over won engagements to delivery with scope, assumptions, exclusions and estimates clearly documented.
● Keep the solution and collateral repository current as offerings evolve.

Experience and Skills
Essential
● Engineering or technical academic background – B.Tech, BE, MCA, MSc or equivalent in Computer Science, IT, Data Science or a related discipline. Candidates from a purely business, management or sales background are not suitable for this role.
● 8+ years overall, with at least 4 years hands-on in AI, ML, data engineering or applied data science, and still working hands-on today.
● Client-facing experience in pre-sales, solution consulting or technical account management, with examples of deals won.
● Working knowledge of machine learning and predictive modelling, generative AI and LLM-based systems, RAG and knowledge assistants, computer vision, document and data extraction, and conversational or voice AI.
● Understanding of cloud and on-premise deployment, data pipelines, APIs and enterprise system integration.
● Proven ability to estimate effort and team composition, and to defend those numbers under challenge.
● Excellent communication skills, spoken and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and produce client-ready proposals and solution documents.
● Confident presenting to senior and technical stakeholders.

Preferred
● Experience scoping AI work for enterprise clients in India, GCC, UK or Europe.
● Experience with public sector RFPs and tender responses.
● Familiarity with IoT or industrial data platforms.
● Relevant certification in AI, cloud or solution architecture.
